Do you know the difference between Backfin and Jumbo Lump crab meat? What is the best crab meat grade for crab cakes? Join Donald Manning, Phillips Seafood’s crabologist, for a cooking demonstration to learn how to best cook with crab.
VIP Participants will receive free recipes and the opportunity to sample the food cooked during the presentation.

Join Chef Kaimana Chee, 2016 Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen S.10 Ep. 11 – Winner, for a Hawaiian Poke demonstration. Poke is a dish made with diced raw fish served as either an appetizer or as a main course and is one of the main dishes of Native Hawaiian cuisine.
Kaimana Chee is the Executive Chef of Uncle’s Hawaiian Grindz, a modern Hawaiian restaurant in Fallston, MD and a Chef Ambassador/Spokesperson for JUST, a cutting-edge food technology company. For the past three years Chef Kaimana has been traveling across the globe as an advocate for the JUST product line promoting sustainable, delicious and healthier food products. Chef Kaimana identifies his multi-ethnic upbringing as one of the key contributing factors in developing his passion for food. Starting his professional culinary journey on a food truck a decade ago, Chef Kaimana has since earned a collection of culinary accolades that include numerous television appearances and culinary competitions.

Want to learn how to create fantastic summer cocktails? Brooke Brown, owner of Bashes by Brooke Brown, is the 2018 Mid Atlantic Battle of the Bottle Winner and Allied Member of the Maryland Distillers Guild. Brooke has a passion for crafting cocktails and teaches mixology classes around the state of Maryland as well as consults various restaurants and industries. Brooke believes that everyone deserves a fantastic cocktail so she is here to serve it.
Restaurant Association of Maryland (RAM)
The Restaurant Association of Maryland (RAM) and its Education Foundation exist to promote, protect and improve the foodservice and hospitality industry in Maryland. Through their distinct but complementary missions, RAM & RAMEF work side-by-side to lead and support the industry.
Join RAM as they provide samples of their signature dishes. Included with every ticket is sample coupons to be used throughout the RAM Sampling Concourse. Additional tickets can be purchased at the festival.
